1906 - Addition & Renovation to the Worcester Public Library - Main Branch

The project scope generally includes: Renovations of the first floor and portions of the third floor of the existing Public Library, an “addition” to enclose an existing exterior arcade along Salem St, incorporate a new entry from Franklin Street, relocate, renovate, and rebuild the children’s library from the first level to the third level, relocate, renovate, and rebuild program areas on the first level, and waterproof and repave south entry plaza. Affected interior building area is approximately 53,000 square feet.

   PRE-BID CONFERENCE - The pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the project site, WORCESTER PUBLIC LIBRARY – MAIN BRANCH, 3 Salem Street, Worcester, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a brief overview and tour of the construction areas.  It is recommended that all Bidders attend this meeting. We will gather on the south side exterior plaza of the library building facing Francis J. Mc Grath Municipal Parking Lot.
