| Bid Description | The Work consists of the demolition of the existing heating hot water boiler, pump, breeching, and chimney at the Worcester DCU Center. The Work also includes the demolition of the existing abandoned chiller and chilled water pump within the ground level boiler room. The proposed Work consists of three (3) new condensing, heating hot water boilers, variable speed heating hot water pumps, combustion air supply and venting, modifications to the existing building management control system, modifications to the boiler room mezzanine floor and roof structures, roofing and flashing for boiler vent penetrations, and modifications to electrical power systems to support new mechanical equipment. Filed Sub-bids in: 1. DIVISION 15 - PLUMBING 2. DIVISION 15 - HVAC 3 DIVIVISION 16 - ELECTRICAL PRE-BID CONFERENCE - The pre-bid conference will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the project site, DCU BOILER UPGRADE PROJECT, 50 Foster St., Worcester, Massachusetts 01608, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a brief overview and tour of the construction areas. It is recommended that all Bidders attend this meeting.
