| Bid Description | DCU - Electric Vault Upgrade Renovations Filed sub-bid Catagories: (1) Section 042000 MASONRY (2) Section 099123 INTERIOR PAINTING (3) Section 230001 HVAC (4) Section 260001 ELECTRICAL Please note: Metal Fabrication, Waterproofing Damproofing & Caulking & Plumbing have been eliminated as Filed Sub-Bids. DCAMM certification is: General Building Construction
PRE-BID CONFERENCE – Two (2) Scheduled Trade Specific pre-bid conferences will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 for Item 1 & 2 Work; that will be limited to all areas except entry into the energized vault. The second pre-bid conference on July 14, 2021 for Item 1& 2 Work will include limited entry into the fully energized vault, at the project site, 50 Foster St., Worcester, 01608 beginning at 9:00 A.M. - 12 P.M. with a brief overview and tour of the construction areas. All contractors electing to enter the fully energized vault shall be required to have previously received the necessary training for entering into an energized environment. It is recommended that all Bidders attend these meetings. All bidders are required to provide their own extraction procedure, personnel and equipment for accessing the subterranean vault. G.C.
